Portrait prices can be found below and include frame and shipping.
Given the nature of a pastel picture, I always frame immediately in order that the picture is protected from damage, especially during transportation.
Please note that the sizes in the table below relate to the picture prior to framing
|10 x 8||25 x 20||£97|
|12 x 8||30 x 20||£112|
|16 x 12||40 x 30||£239|
|20 x 16||50 x 40||£381|
Below you can find some guidance to help in deciding your portrait size and sizes are in inches:
10 x 8 – Ideal for a small head portrait.
12 x 8 – Ideal for small dog/cat head and body portrait, small head portrait or larger dog head portrait.
16 x 12 – Ideal for larger dog head and body, horse head portrait or adult portrait. Can fit 2 small head portraits.
20 x 16 – Ideal for horse head and body portrait or multiple head portraits.
There are no add – ons for multiple portraits. i.e. if you have more than one portrait in
the picture, it is one price that you pay.
Normally a portrait is of the head and shoulders, and a background is included to compliment the overall picture.
Should you want a more detailed background to this, please contact me for a quote.
If you wish a portrait in charcoal only, then deduct 10% from the overall cost.
Note that I may request a pre-payment of 25% of the cost by cheque or bank transfer to book a slot.
A gift card is also available if you are short of time. You can buy a £50 voucher or pay for the full price of a commission if you prefer.
Portraits will normally take up to 8 weeks to complete, so please contact me in sufficient time.
The standard frames that I use are black with a white mount and black inlay.
In the example below, the portrait is 12″ x 8″ with a 16.75″ x 13″ frame. Should you have different framing requirements I will be happy to quote and arrange with my local framer.
