Hi, my name is Christopher Amos and I live in the rural village of Blairhall, Fife, not far from the Highlands of Scotland.
Originally drawing portraits in graphite from an early age, I subsequently started using pastels to do portraits for family and friends.
The early years…..
As a member of the Dunfermline Art Club, I have been fortunate to be able to paint in my spare time and show my work with the Club over the years. I still exhibit work periodically within the Clubs gallery located in the Kingsgate Centre in Dunfermline and their annual exhibitions.
After working in manufacturing for over 30 years, I decided to change direction in order to focus on my art.
So, my main work now is creating portraits from client photographs, some of which you can view in my gallery.
I still produce landscapes and abstracts in oils, acrylic, watercolour and pastels.
These can also be viewed in my other galleries.
